Friday evening, a police K9 Dog sniffed out 90 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of a car during a routine traffic stop in Florida. The car was initially pulled over after a police officer noticed a passenger in a car without their seat belt on.
The 2010 Chevrolet Suburban was stopped at 4:30 PM. The officer conducting the stop became suspicious when the driver and the passenger in the car did not know each others’ names.
After looking up the suspects, the officer discovered that the passenger had prior criminal history for distributing marijuana. The cargo area of the SUV also contained numerous large boxes, which the officer found suspicious.
After the K9 sniffed the area, it was confirmed that marijuana was present in the vehicle.
The boxes in the cargo area each held contained with packing peanuts and approximately $350,000 worth of marijuana. Upon questioning, it was revealed that the suspect was traveling from Miami to Bradenton to deliver the marijuana.
Khalfani Robb of Miramar, FL, was charged with trafficking over 25 pounds of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and keeping a vehicle for a controlled substance.
Robb was the passenger in the car. Police have not released why the driver of the vehicle was not arrested.

“Robb was the passenger in the car. Police have not released why the driver of the vehicle was not arrested.”–Sounds fishy to me…

Stopped, then noticed no seatbelt, and boxes that were suspicious? What makes a box suspicious outside of the word DRUGS or pot leaf on the damn thing. Either lucky/unlawful grab or someone rolled.
