 by lucy

Antonio Aguilar-Lopez, a 25-year-old man from Pasco, WA will spend the next 20 years in federal prison then be deported to Mexico as a result of his marijuana grow containing over 1,300 plants.

Aguilar-Lopez was arrested in July 2009 after sheriff’s detectives discovered his growing operation.  He was found in the growing area with a 16 year old boy from Arizona.  Both were arrested as they ran away from the scene.

Aguilar-Lopez was charged in federal court with manufacturing over 1,000 marijuana plants.  A Mexican national who was living in the United States as an alien after a prior deportation, Aguilar-Lopez will be deported again after serving his 20 year sentence.

He faced a minimum 20 year sentence due to a prior felony drug trafficking conviction.  He was convicted of his crimes in October and sentenced yesterday.
