Nebraska is stepping up to become a new voice in the cannabis community. On February 7, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host a debate about marijuana legalization to encourage students and voters to have an educated opinion on the issue.
Speaking in favor of legalization will be Steve Hager, former editor-in-chief of High Times Magazine. Speaking against legalization will be former DEA special agent Bob Stutman.
Questions for the debate will be submitted by students in the audience.
The debate is free to university students with a valid student ID. It will be open to the public for $5. The debate will be held at 7:30 PM on February 7 in the Nebraska Union’s Centennial Room.
The fact that more conservative states are opening up the dialogue about marijuana legalization shows how far the movement has come.
