Weed Not Greed Starts Nationwide Tour

 by lucy

Weed Not Greed, a cannabis legalization organization, has announced that they will start a nationwide tour on August 17, the goal of which is to increase marijuana visibility and educate communities about the benefits of ending marijuana prohibition.

The group also works to raise awareness for people who have been incarcerated due to marijuana related charges.  Ultimately, the goal of Weed Not Greed is to completely legalize the growing, consumption, sale, and possession of marijuana in the United States.

Activist David Krane spoke of the organization’s mission, stating, “We are making clear that our minds are the sovereign property of each individual, and the freedom to choose states of mind is as constitutional a right as freedom of religion and the pursuit of happiness.”

The tour will travel throughout the US over the course of two months.  Below is a schedule of the tour dates and locations:

With Chi moving correctly I am hoping that Illinois will go mmj (we all know they could use the money, with all their recent corruptions) and Iowa will have to follow suit. At least I hope they will, nothing would be worse then looking across the river knowing I am on the wrong side.
